For our first assignment, I decided to go with my seashell collection! Here are categories I plan on trying to sort them in:
L: Areas where the shells can typically be found.
A: Different classes of shells - maybe identify each one? From there, the groups or individual shells can be alphabetized.
T: The original animal's average lifespan.
C: Classified by texture/pattern.
H: Comparison of shell sizes, big to small.
"Time" was a tricky one, since I've had these since I was a kid, I can't remember when in which order I acquired them, and I'm not exactly a scientist. (During my research today, it turns out that even specialists have a hard time determining the age of shells.) We'll have to see how things turns out, I guess.
