Wow... thats all I gotta say to this. Alicia your site looks very nice. I think that you did a good job of paying attention to detail on your infographs and keeping them all cohesive and clear. The site functionality is really nice how you are sorting them in groups, but also including a scrollbar for the random sort, which makes more sense to group your objects rather than put them all of a scrollbar. I like the way that you are exploiting your collection with well taken photography, of the close ups on each infograph, is working really nicely and relating of how you are organizing your collection, in which is by texture. Im being really picky here because your site looks so nice but I can see another sorting method besides random it could be by size. Im sure you have already considered this but that is all I can think of. Good job again! Pat on the back!
Alicia, Both the type and the layout look very clean and refreshing which I think references shell collecting as a whole. Your imagery is beautiful (shells, infographs, and background). Overall I think your sight is navigating quite well, however I do feel that the "close" button in the corner is a bit hard to notice. Compositionally, I think that each page is elegant and easy to digest the content. Good work throughout the whole project.
Rendering method of individual objects (appropriate? cohesive? engaging?) Yes deffinately appropriate for her subject matter, I love the soft touch of light with great texture detail. Deffinately engaging especially on the macro close ups of the texture differences. They are all cohesive and fit very nicely with your collection. Same with your infographs, very refined and cohesive as a set. • Composition & typography of site's content (accessible? refined? engaging?) Typography is beautiful, love the typeface choice, deffinately accessible, different ways of sorting methods is nice, also like how you included a page with all the infographs so that viewer had chance to see all of them. • Information visualization strategies (clear? informative? engaging?) yes, yes, & YES! • Functionality (clear? user-friendly? engaging?) GREAT! see above,
