Hiii! I think the text is simple and informative, it explains the use and history well. I found a little mistake, but other than that it is grammatically correct and is easy to read. Formally, I thought that the text needs a little more hierarchy, like subheads or something. It might also help if you made the names of the shoes bold or italic, but that's up to you.
